Enhance Your Current SIPPS Implementation with the Following Fifth Edition Products
The following Fifth Edition components can be incorporated into an existing Third or Fourth Edition implementation of SIPPS. They are available for purchase separately.
CC PAL Practice App
The CC PAL student app gives students daily, targeted, independent retrieval practice aligned to their SIPPS instruction. With “just-right” interactive practice activities and connected text reading, students get the engaging, effective practice they need for foundational skills mastery, while educators receive real-time progress tracking data.

Dreams on Wheels
Dreams on Wheels, the collection of age- and developmentally-appropriate texts for older striving readers receiving SIPPS Plus instruction, has a new look and more selections!
In the Fifth Edition, 7 selections in Dreams on Wheels have been replaced for increased representation, and 22 “review selections” have been added for additional reading practice.
Digital access is also available to all SIPPS users on the Learning Portal.

SIPPS Little Books
We want all students to see themselves and their peers represented in the texts they read.
In order to bolster representation in the texts for our youngest readers, we have added two new recurring characters, Nan and Tim.

SIPPS Challenge Level Vocabulary Supplement
Implementers of SIPPS Challenge know the power of this instruction for supporting students’ polysyllabic decoding abilities.
For students who require additional support with word meanings, SIPPS, Fifth Edition offers a new vocabulary supplement to Challenge Level, with 75 optional morphemic analysis lessons based on meaningful word parts taught in Challenge.

Spelling-Sound Cards with Articulatory Gesture and Pronunciation Support
The spelling-sound cards now have articulatory gesture and pronunciation guidance on the backs to support teachers with delivering in-the-moment guidance as students learn and review spelling-sound connections.

High-Frequency Cards with Teacher Support for Word Sound-Out Routines
SIPPS, Fifth Edition includes newly revised high-frequency word cards to accompany the Sound-Out Support for the “Introduce Sight Words Routine”.
Each high-frequency word card includes guidance to direct the teacher to the regular sounds in each word that have already been introduced to students.

Manipulative Kit for Hands-On Learning and Practice
The new Collaborative Classroom Literacy Kit for Beginning and Extension Levels contains three-letter-word puzzle cards, a letter-tracing sensory pad, a magnetic dry-erase activity tray, Elkonin boxes, phoneme phones, word-building magnetic tiles, and upper- and lower-case magnetic foam letters, stamp sets, and alphabet puzzle cards.
