Emily Figley is a consultant with the Center for the Collaborative Classroom. She has ten years of experience as a classroom teacher and instructional coach in charter, public, and private schools, with a specific focus on literacy initiatives and implementation. She received her M.Ed from the University of Virginia in Elementary Education. Emily is passionate about working at the intersection of literacy and equity. She believes that supporting teachers and leaders in implementing high-quality, research-based literacy programs is crucial for empowering all students and educators.
