Dwayne Pinkney

Dwayne Pinkney has experience as a paraprofessional, lead teacher, program coordinator, professional development facilitator and coaching specialist to districts and schools internationally. He earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Early Childhood Education from Trinity Washington University.  His areas of expertise are phonological awareness, phonics, guided reading, crafting mini lessons, creating meaningful independent workstations for early learners, math manipulatives, creating projects that demonstrate learning and understanding of CCSS, and teacher work-life balance. Dwayne serves as a consultant with the Center for the Collaborative Classroom and looks forward to supporting educators supporting students.
